At the Imperial Garden (Forbidden City)
Summer Palace with Aunt Lisa!
James is such a happy boy!Today was a packed day of touring! James did so well-he was such a little trooper! He didn't really like the stroller, though, so he was either being carried by my mom or walking himself the entire time. He has been smiling and laughing (we got our first couple laughs out loud today!) nearly constantly the entire day. He even ran up to my mom and hugged her.
Everywhere we went it was incredibly crowded. I don't think James had any idea how big the world actually is-the mass of humanity shocked him. People everywhere were staring at us, and a bunch of people wanted pictures with us. James was very popular everywhere we went, everyone wanted to talk to him. We also saw a little baby with the split-pants poop in the middle of Summer Palace which was pretty funny!
For dinner and lunch James ate a TON of food. He wasn't as thrilled as he was at McDonald's but he sure is a big eater!
We have met up with my Aunt Lisa, as well! It was so nice to see her! She met us at the Summer Palace and will be with us for the next couple of days.
James just got out of the bath, which he took without complaining at all. He has the funniest expressions! Now he's lying in his crib, happy as a little clam.
Tomorrow is another day of touring!
